Mia mamma sta riprendendo. Forse se siete fortunati lo ruberò e caricherò”.

Secondo quanto riporta la rivista People a Nashville c’era anche il padre Billy Ray Cyrus, che ha trascorso un po’ di tempo coi figli nella sua fattoria di 500 acri in occasione delle feste .

"There's nothing more fun than being out on stage and getting the vibe from the crowd. There's nothing like being on a set where you are there to make other people happy and to make them laugh. That's the best job in the world."

"It's crazy because you start signing autographs and an hour later you're still there."

"I don't get annoyed when fans come up to me, but sometimes I get nervous. It's like 'what I'm gonna do, what am I supposed to say, do I look the way they would want me to?' But then it's like, 'ok, this is me and they wanna do is meet the real me', so I think that's really fun."

"I was having lunch with my brother and I had on my pajamas, i wasn't wearing makeup, and my hair was totally nasty. So we get to the restaurant and the first thing I hear is, 'You look a lot better on TV!'. Somtimes it's really weird to hear stuff like that. I just think 'Well that was harsh!'. But then again, there are times when someone will come up to me and say , 'Ohmigosh! You're so cute and I love your show!'. And when that happens I just think 'This is sweet!'"

"Some of the fanmail is interesting! Some of it's the lyrics to the songs and stuff, and they'll like, send me their favourite lines, which is cool to...know what people are liking. Most of them are really cool to read."

"These little kids come up and invite me to their birthday parties. I keep thinking, 'You know, I should go to some of them.'"

"I think it's so crazy, like, the way people care about everything. Everything gets blown out of proportion, and that to me is so wild. I don't get it. People have some serious imaginations."

"Make sure the rumour is cleared up that my Mum is not dead!!! She's with me right now!"

"It's kind of annoying, to be honest. My friends will call me like, 'Oh my gosh! You're pregnant?' I'm like, 'Dude — seriously? You know me.'" [on rumours]

"It’s given me the street cred to say that would be impossible, because I’m living my life the way I believe is right and that is to stay pure." [on pregnancy rumors]

"I understand and the pressure is definitely hard, but I think just keeping your head on your shoulders is easier than it looks. I think if you know who you are, then I think you'll be fine for the rest of the way.”

"People would say, 'You're only 14, you're getting the same pressure [Britney, Lindsay] are.' And it's like... yes I am. It's beacause this life I lead is pretty crazy. It's just about having values, and having pride on yourself."

"With yourself, I think you have to decide the kind of person that you really want to be, and for me, it's just a sweet girl."

"You don't have to go out and party every night. You can act because it's your dream."

"I am not very good at keeping secrets at all! If you want your secret kept do not tell me!"

"[In a fight] I try to be the bigger person. There's no harm in saying, "You know what? Whatever. I'm going to let it roll off." I try to be generous with my response."

"I started getting to the point where I was, 'oh maybe this isn't what I'm supposed to do'." [before HM]

"I’ve got to make really good decisions. And that helps me in my real life because it’s that little voice in my head telling me right from wrong. More than just for myself, but for the girls who are watching me.”

    "I'm pretty outspoken."

"The other day I was at a Us Weekly Party [dancing] and I started doing the springler and the running man. I'm not afraid to be embarased."

"The best part of my carreer is getting to meet so many different people, because I learn so much from everyone."

"I understand and the pressure is definitely hard, but I think just keeping your head on your shoulders is easier than it looks. I think if you know who you are, then I think you'll be fine for the rest of the way.”

"I cut the ribbon in Paris, and everyone in Paris speaks French — maybe you knew that. But I'm from Tennessee, and Tennessee girls don't speak French. So suddenly I'm stuck onstage with Minnie and Mickey and everyone is yelling at me in French — I guess they're telling me to get off the stage, but I didn't know what they were saying at the time, so I start dancing with Minnie and Mickey like on the show and finally my aunt comes and gets me off."

"I come from this really small town near Nashville, Tennessee, where everything was la-di-da and normal."

"It was hard to leave my school. I've been going to the same school since kindergarden."

"I don't want to be perfect, but I do want to be a role model. My mom always tells me that imperfections equal beauty. All of us are imperfect."

"I told my mom, 'I'm not buying another magazine until I can get past this thought of looking like the girl on the cover'. She said, "Miley, you are the girl on the cover,' and I was, like, 'I know, but I don't feel like that girl every day.' You can't always feel perfect." [spring 2008]

"Life is all about having a good time."

"What I always say is, 'you can't live a positive life with a negative mind and if you have a positive outcome you have a positive income and just to have more positivity and just to kind of laugh it off.'"

"Once I wash my face, and this all [make-up] comes off I look way young. That's the way I feel most comfortable in." [December 2007]

"Pink isn't just a color, it's an attitude!"

“I was singing on the stage with my dad when I was 2. I would sing ‘Hound Dog' and silly songs for the fun of it.”

“I’ll be doing a concert and I'll look out in the crowd and I'll see 3-year-olds. Then I see 6- and 7-year-olds wearing ‘Hannah Montana’ wigs and all this stuff. And then I look out and see people who are 18, 19 and 20. I think the reason the show has the wide range is that no matter how old you are, no matter where you come from, you always have a dream or a goal that you’d like to achieve. It shows just a normal girl reaching her dream. So I think that gives a little bit of inspiration to all the viewers.”

"I'm a big shoe person. Sometimes I'll be punky, the next day I'll be preppy. Every day after work, my mom and I go shopping. My dad is about to kill me. I say, 'We need it, daddy!'"

"I go on pretty big shopping sprees. But when I'm with my friends, they get even worse. Thery're always like, 'Come on, just do it!' It's hard when you have someone to talk you into it."

"I love everything [Jessica Simpson] ever has on! Jessica can definitely come pick me up in her little Mercedes and take me shopping if she wants!"

"I don't really have a style -- I'm just me. My style is kinda whatever I feel like wearing. A lot of girls feel like they need to wear what everyone else is wearing. But it's good to have your own trend. People will start following it!"

"I always have two bracelets on my right arm. One is a purple and white bracelet from a fan. I love it! I also wear a bracelet from a waterpark- I've had it on for two or three years. My mom says it's pretty nasty, actually. But you'll never see me without them ever! In magazine photos, the bracelets are sometimes airbrushed out, but viewers will always see me wearing them during scenes."

"Nothing that's too out there. I like to look like what girls would like to look up to and their mums would think that's cool, that's different.'" [on her style]

"I have candy all the time. I live on gummy bears and peach rings. They're like dried-up peaches, only dipped in sugar. You can get 'em at gas stations. They're like 99 cents for four bags. And cashews. I love cashews."

"I want a vintage Corvette, black with three stripes." [on the dream car she wants as a gift for her 16th birthday.]

"If I could get any animal it would be a dolphin. I want one so bad. Me and my mom went swimming with dolphins and I was like, 'How do we get one of those?' and she was like, 'You can't get a dolphin. What are you gonna do, like, put it in your pool?'"

"I love perfumes. I collect them and am OCD about how I like the bottles lined up."

"We go to Cracker Barrel, which is my favorite, and Long John Silver's. I don't eat meat, but I love their fish and their hush puppies. I'll eat eight buckets." [on the highlights of being on tour]

"Hilary Duff has been my role model forever. I went to her concert like right when her music started coming out when I was probably like 11. I was just amazed by her. So now, to be compared to her, it's like...holy moly. It's so cool!"

"I'm a big Hilary Duff person! My family loves her."

"My favourite sport is cheerleading!" [March 2006]

"They're going to be pretty harsh, so no matter what they're going to honestly think, they're going to be like, "You stay, you go home." That was the most nerve-wracking part." [on auditioning for cheerleader]

"The training is pretty harsh, but it's so worth it once you're on stage and getting trophies." [on cheerleading]

"My sister and I do cheerleading stunts and backflips in the water. I love the water because you can do anything."

"We just love hanging outside. That's why our doors are always opened - literally."

"I love to sleep. I'd sleep all day if I could."

"My room is calm with candels, mint green and dark brown."

"My room feels beachy and Old Hollywood. I love the way the room is laid out."

"Music is what I breath, what I love to do. It keeps me alive."

"The only people that you really have, that I learned, are your family, because they love you no matter what."

"The only advice my Dad's given me is: If you ain't having fun, it ain' working, so always have fun with what you're doing. If you don't love it then there's no reason to do it. And don't do it for fame or money- do it because it's something that you feel is right."

"When [my Dad and I] are doing photo shoots or something he'll just yell out things I wouldn't want anyone to know. Just random stuff. "Remember that time when you were a kid?" That kind of stuff. But it's funny. It breaks the ice. It makes everyone smile. If it takes embarrassing me to make everyone happy I'll take it."

"We'll have an argument at home, and then I realize I'm going to have to drive to work with him. It's the logest hour of my life. If feels like I've been in the car for four days!"

"[...] Finally I call [Dad] and ask, 'Where are you?' and he says, 'I'm on the set, where are you?' and I say, 'Uh, Dad, did you maybe forget something?'"

"What's good is that once my dad and I are home we are done. We don't even run lines together. Anything that happens on the set stays on the set."

“My dad said, ‘Just stay in school and do cheerleading. Be a normal kid.”'

"My Dad always told me that casting agencies are like artists picturing their paintings in their mind. They know what they want for a role and not to take it too seriously [if I dont get the part]."

"Make sure the rumour is cleared up that my Mum is not dead!!! She's with me right now!"

"My mom is always telling me it takes a long time to get to the top, but a short time to get to the bottom."

"My mom always tells me that imperfections equal beauty. All of us are imperfect."

"My Mum’s the most beautiful girl, not only on the outside but on the inside. She’s teaching me how to be a good person."

"We just love hanging outside. That's why our doors are always opened - literally."

"It feels like we're at YMCA; there are so many people just in our family. Then our friends come over, and it's like, OK, this is a stinkin' country club!"

"It was really sad because that definitely is going to change her life. I really respect her for taking it the classy route." [on Jamie Spears pregnancy.]

"I got [Nick Jonas] a bike [for his 15th birthday]. When you're 15, you can't get him a car, so I got him a bike."

Miley through the years talking of being in the limelight, getting recognized, the fans, the pressures of the buisness and rumours.

"It hasn't really felt real (yet). All this hard work I've done my entire life is about to pay off." (March 2006)

"[When they see me] people actually say Miley mostly because they see Miley mostly on the show. When I have the wig on, they'll say Hannah, but when I don't, they'll say Miley."

"Whatever person kids relate to the most, I want them to call me that. So if Hannah's more who they find their inspiration in, call me Hannah. If they're more an average girl who wants to blend in with everybody else, then call me Miley."

"One time, me and one of my best friends, Sarah, were at Disney World together and we were in a gift shop and one of our favorite songs came on and we just totally zoned out and started singing and dancing to it and we completely forgot anyone could even see us then everyone was staring at us like "What the heck are they doing?" And we were just like "umm, oops!" It was pretty funny but really embarassing!"

"Some people recognize me. I really like it." [early 2006]

“I went to Universal [Studios Hollywood theme park] with my brother and a friend. The recognition was immediate. It was craziness — all the kids on every ride. I felt like I was going to hurl after one ride and all the kids were like, ‘Hannah Montana is about to puke!”'

"It was weird the first time it happened. It was the day after the show came out and my best friend and I went to Universal and we heard these girls scream, 'Is it her?' We're looking around for Britney or Lindsay or someone famous and they're like, 'Are you Miley?' And I said, 'Miley? Yeah, why?' I thought I was in trouble."

"I'll be out with my friends and be recognized, and little girls will ask me for my autograph. It is so much fun living out your dream. It, like, totally reflects me 100%."

"So then all these people were like following me. It got kind of creepy, but then again, I was like, 'Oh, gosh, this is so cool! Awesome!'"

Jeremy Piven had nothing but good words for his So Undercover co-star Miley Cyrus!

He said that he had a really good time filming with her in New Orleans, despite there being a 27-year age difference between them.

    Us Magazine reports:

“I think I must be an 18-year-old girl because we got along really well,” Piven told E! News while promoting his new drama I Melt With You at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. “It was just so much fun. I had so much fun with her and we had great chemistry. It was really really weird — we’re like polar opposites.”

Though Cyrus has had her fair share of controversies recently — she was caught smoking salvia out of a bong on November 28 — Piven insists the Hannah Montana star has a good head on her shoulders.

“You know, you can judge her, but what were you doing when you were 18?” he asked. “She’s kind of amazing. There’s something so incredibly refreshing about someone who is exactly who they are. There’s nothing pretentious about her. She’s this force. She loves to laugh.”
